The most beautiful city in the world?

Of all the cities around the world that I have visited I think that Rio de Janeiro and San Francisco are the most beautiful. Both cities have a special kind of soul. It is hard to describe, but it feels like the city and its citizens are more connected to each other than in other cities.

On Wednesday we decided to have our second sightseeing tour of San Francisco and this time in a car (the last time we went there we took the train). The goal was to take some really nice shots over this beautiful city.

We started with a drive up to Twin Peaks to get the overview look of the city. See below.

We continued with a drive through Presidio and ended up in Haight-Ashbury (the old Hippie district) for lunch and some shopping. We continued to the Palace of Fine Arts and took a coffee break and then an ice-cream break close to Fisherman’s Wharf.

Finally we drove over the Golden Gate Bridge and got some really nice shots over the bridge and the city from across the bay. The day just verified my feeling: San Francisco is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. What do you think??
