I booked most of the things for my trip already in October 2010, but when it comes to my stop in California nothing has been booked so far. Even though it will my longest stop on the whole trip around the world: one month.
Of course there is a reason for that: my sister lives in California, so I don't need to book a hotel. Most of the things I like to do when I'm in California don't need to be booked. BUT - even though I have been in California many, many times I have never been to Las Vegas. So yesterday I booked my Las Vegas trip.
My sister and I will go there for a 4 days stay, and I'm hoping that is enough. I have always been more of a nature girl than a big city girl, so usually I get bored after a few days in a big city. We are "spicing” the trip up with a one day tour to Grand Canyon. My sister is refusing to do any kind of physical activities because of the heat. I’m still debating with myself if I should do either a short hike or a tour on a bike. I still haven’t decided. Advices anyone?? AND we will see one show: Penn and Teller. Don’t ask me what it is – it is my sister’s choice. But I trust her judgment.
I’m really looking forward to my California stop. It is one of my other home countries. I have quite many: Sweden, Germany, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brazil and California. All these places feel a bit or a lot like home.
Time to go to bed and dream about my trip. :-)
